Seattle Messenger Cooperative is a team dedicated to providing the community fast, friendly, & reliable service.

Each of us have been at this for awhile. Over the years, prior to opening SMC, our team gained experience in the messenger industry while working for other companies. Our experiences range from legal to commercial messenger companies to restaurant delivery. We've seen what it takes to run a successful courier service and have dedicated our lives to creating a company that better serves not only us, as messengers, but our clients.

Many companies have business models where the messenger does the majority of the work for a delivery but is paid only a small commission for their effort.  Standard business hierarchies, bureaucracy and ill compensation can leave the average courier not feeling devoted to ensuring quality service. We have never liked feeling that way. Here at Seattle Messenger Cooperative, your deliveries are not only our bread and butter, but our passion. 

Seattle Messenger Cooperative is a cooperative business for a few reasons. Each of us are owners and hold a responsibility within the company. In turn, we are fully invested in providing the best service we can for each and every delivery. At SMC you can avoid the middle man and work directly with company owners at all times. Our interactions and service not only reflect directly on us, but also on our livelihood.
